Hospitality is something we feel strongly about. Naturally that includes the elderly and those that have difficulty walking. The museum features a lift, thresholds have been removed as much as possible, and steps have been replaced with ramps. As a result 95% of the exhibition rooms can be reached by wheelchair or rollator. Visitors may use the museum’s wheelchair. There is also a spacious disabled toilet. The desk and the Auditorium feature a deaf loop system for visitors with a hearing disability. A special audio tour with an induction loop is also available. There is also a special area where babies’ nappies may be changed.
